Social Media Seminar in Dar soon!

I am in early stages of organization for social media seminar in late July or in August for young people from high schools and high learning institutions in Dar es Salaam. Looking forward to be the first of it's kind in terms of the main topic presented and number of participants. Last year I did conduct two seminars in two of popular high schools in Dodoma town, more than anything I learned a lot from them. More young people sign up in social media sites such as Facebook but with little knowledge of the significance of their engagement and also forgetting a lot of other useful social media tools that may help them in both their academic and personal lives.

As we see around the world social media tools such as blogs and social networks inspiring change across the globe I believe its high time now for Tanzanian young people to realize the power of social media tools.

And that is what has inspired me to take a step to organize this seminar that I look forward to be held at a later date between late July to August. To bring about 100 young people to the first ever seminar to get a full picture of social media. If you believe in this event as much as I do please let me know if you can do or help with anything to make it possible, more info check out at the Projects page, http://www.kijanamokiwa.com/p/projects.html
