The Crying Earth!!!

It is real a time that all of us need to understand that the existence of this beautiful planet rests in our hands. Our global leaders proved a fail when they met this December in Norway to discuss matters pertaining to Global Warming. It is so because they failed to reach a convincing agreement on how this man influenced problem can be minimized if not tackled.

As a sub-Saharan youth it has be a sad end to me because recently it has been revealed that effects of Global warming does influence the civil wars in much part of my region.

Are we going to continue to sit down and watch? Call out for unsuccessful conferences?

So what should be done?

A Kijana! A African youth!!

Still I stand and walk tall
Walk tall against all odds against me...
A Sub-Saharan kijana....
Against HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Civil Wars, Draught, Unemployment and the like.
Still I stand....
I walk tall and with confidence and hope..
That one day things will change..
One day it will be peaceful and beautiful...
And all this will be a story to tell my grand children..
Yeah...it will be so......

But not without a fight..
Not without clean governments...
With good education systems..
Application of rule of law and democratic principles...
Promising us not only a better tomorrow but a better today...

Yeah..as I wake up....
A Kijana! A Youth! A proudly African Kijana...
I know things can change..
And am ready to influence those changes today...

Here I walk..Here I go....

Influencing changes and take part in making changes!!!!!
